Welcome to My Gallery
I am some what new to Daz3d but have been enjoying very much. I have always loved art since a young child. A pad of paper and a pencil and I'd be quiet for hours. I'll always remember thinking I was going to draw for Disney when I grow up. LOL
I was born in Flint, Michigan back in June of 1965 and raised in a small town called Otisville. It will always be home to me. I have traveled alot over the years living in Fl,Calf.Ny,Conn. But i am back in Michigan for now at least. One more year of college for my degree in Radiology Tech. I work full time but try to vol. at the hospitol when I can.
I look forward to meeting new people and checking out everyone else's art as well. Please fell free to leave tips, comments and anything else you would like to share. I'll try to post as often as I can, but only if it is worthy of sharing the space of all this other great art work.Â
I wish everyone the best and want to thank you again for visiting my pages.Â

Don't know if you accomplished it with post work or with manipulating DoF and lighting in your rendering engine but this is really a strong piece of impressionism. Back lit by the blaze your mounted, barbaric main character is certainly imposing. The glowing red eyes are GREAT! =)
Thanks for sharing this!

You are correct on both Molly. I coined a term, I like to say "Ran it through the wash" Nobody has ever asked what that means lol. I take my render and create several copies, each highlighting areas or effects I like. Then I stack them at around 50% transparence. This lets me take from each copy the spot I wish to appear more or less. I can also erase areas to let the underlaying image come through better. Once I am happy ( wish is never ) I merge all. This image had around 10 images I stacked. It is a lame attempt at a Molly Hatchet album cover. Cant do Frank's artwork justice, but fun trying. Best wishes, and thanks for checking it out.

Even before reading your reply to MollyF, my first reaction was "Molly Hatchet"! A great tribute to FZ and a stylish image, Fascinating to read about the "wash" process too; that's dedication!
