She cursed herself for not having paid the extra money for the other model with the go-faster-stripes on it...
(Just think of the original Racing Green Mini-Cooper with those 2 hilarious white rally stripes, in my memory additionally adorned with a baby sock draped over the broken off ignition key and no chance whatsoever to open the passenger door - just don't ask.)
