Description
I find the Hair Room tools to be absolutely miserable, but I do love the way strand-based hair renders. Here I've dug in the toolbox for Adorana's old Shena Hair for V3 and done a ton of work on it to see how far I could take it for my Astoria character. Among things I did:
-- lowered the tip and root width
-- upped the density
-- added kink
-- moved the roots of the bangs
-- split the bangs a bit
-- lengthened the style a bit
-- doubled the hair, removed most of the groups. Just retained the top front and bangs. Lowered the density and thickened the roots. Then translated into new position. This was to help cover up bald spots that occurred when I had to move the roots of the bangs (when I added kink, the bangs stood up funny over the hair behind).

I think you did an excellent job with this render! Though I think you should have gone with glossy lip stick. :)
