I am so sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well. I hope that you will be better very soon!
Your ballet picture is wonderful, but that is so unfair that Vicky's new instructor is trying to break her concentration by tickling her!

Hope you will feel better. This is certainly a lovely picture. She seems ecstatic while he seems to be more focused on the ballet lesson. Thank you for sharing!

They look so graceful together, I love their costumes. They should, however, move away from the chairs.

Btw, I'm always aware that you struggle with pain every day, and other health issues, and I always hope that it will have at least some peace each day. I know you struggle with it every day (and I know how pain can wear a person down, to where they can barely get out of bed.) I'm very sorry for all you've been through, Ute, and I hope you at least get some relief each day.
I knew ballet dancers years back (I dated a woman years back, who studied ballet and modern dance) so this image feels very familiar. I can't dance to save my ass (as we say in america), but at least I played piano for ballet dancers. This woman's pose is beautifully done, and the man is clearly supporting her. I don't remember the names of the poses...they're all jumbled in my memory now...but you captured the form and poise very dramatically. And they're in a big hall---a dining hall---and she's on carpeting (which is probably a relief for her feet). And your chandelier is centered right over her head---beautifully composed, Ute. And btw, if you never did ballet, that pose---the pose of the woman? Let me put it this way: If I got into that pose? I'd never come out of it. They would carry me to the hospital in that pose, and I'd be in it for the rest of my life. When I studied piano as a child, I walked past ballet studios every day, and the poses I saw made me dizzy. In any case, this is a beautiful image, with wonderful light and shadow. You've done a number of big, sweeping, male-female couple images of late...

Don't worry about it, I become more and more forgetful over time, I don't even know what I ate the day before on some days. 😊
