Description

The sneak route of a Magpie. This Magpie had no sleuth, but had the behavior of a detective. Dear friends, thank you very much for your look.

We used to have two magpies visit the garden - but they, and many other birds, have not been round for some time. Fewer sparrows, chaffinches, tits, blackbirds and so on, not to mention fewer butterflies, bees and even flies.

Our garden used to teem with wildlife when we came here some 30 years ago.

Surprise - a lone well-built magpie appeared on the lawn yesterday morning but flew off before I could get the camera.

Such a pity it flows away so fast, Shaun, but who knows it will come back. In any case a good sign that they are there again. Thank you so much for sharing your memories. It is a shame that so many insects have disappeared, new species of birds and insects have been discovered in the Netherlands, unfortunately butterflies are still very little.
