Reading about the artist Marguerite Gérard, I came across "Painter when painting a portrait of a lute player" and recognized that you mirrored it in the foreground in a modern way. I very much like the sense that the "geek" is infatuated with the musician. Thank you for sharing!

My apologies for not commenting sooner, this one slipped by while the bots were down! I am touched by the dedication.
The interplay of the characters is beautifully realised and is a really engaging re-interpretation of Gerard.; I like the twist of having the guitarist so lost in her own act fo creation that she is seemingly oblivious to the fond gaze of the artist.. also the transposition of easel to graphics tablet (she looks like she's working in DAZ there!)
