Description

Lyla and Declan have found Granddad Cedric's forgotten model ship at the back of his workshop. After dusting off with a touch of TLC Halcyon eventually takes her maiden voyage today in the custody of her third generation crew.

Beautiful scene, definitely needs to be looked at in full view, can't wait to see it on my desktop tomorrow. The quality of the water is amazing, the ship is fantastic, and lovely and realistic poses and expressions too. And the composition is effective, with the river guiding you and allowing you to take in each individual one at a time, right up to the 2 horsies in the back. Great render!

I often roll my eyes td comments like "superb" and "fantastic" but for this work such would be appropriate. I particularly agree with Ruby Tuesday's articulate analysis. The image tells a story of generational love and sharing the is truly beautiful. I just turned 74 this week and I admit I find this particularly touching partly as a result of the perspective my age gives.

Note well that I am the Queen of ideas to improve and finding nits to pick in almost every image I view or share. If there are any nits in this one, they have evaded me. Thank you so much for sharing. I truly enjoyed viewing!

What a charming scene, I agree with Ruby Tuesday, it needs to be view in full screen for all the beautiful details and the expressions of the characters... wonderful atmosphere and perfect render !!
