Hi everyone
I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying your Saturday.
I am having problems with a file upon upload. It's not allowing me to view it and I am getting
the dreaded error code #102630. I did a small quick video for this test.
If you are or not able to view it, please write a small comment with yes or no, this way I will
know that the problem is on my end and not on this site. I am using the same video codec
I have always used and I am using Google Chrome as my browser.
The unusual thing is that I am still able to view all the previous mp4 videos I have posted in
the past onto my gallery.

I can't view it. Get this error message:
This video file cannot be played. (Error Code: 102630)

I thank you so much for your help, I may have to wait sometime till I am able to try to upload it again. Rendersosity has done some changes on this site lately and perhaps one of them conflicted with videos being able to upload properly. Enjoy your day my friend! :-)

Don't see any sign of a video. I know one of the developers said they're working on a fix. Something you might try is a suggestion by twiztidkidd in the community center forum. https://www.renderosity.com/forums/comments/4420077/permalink

I thank you so much for your help and suggestions to fix the problem, they all sound great to me. I thank you for including the link to twiztidkidd's forum post. I may just wait to upload my video at a later date if I can not get it to work. Enjoy your day my friend! :-)

Hi Johnny, can't see it either using a Mac, and latest Monterey and Safari versions. Same in Firefox and Google Chrome :(

Thank you so much Steve for participating in this small test to see if any one else could view it, I had a video I wanted to share with everyone. I will most likely share still renders only, at least till I am able to upload the videos on to this site.

It's great to see you back here, Johnny, but obviously the site wasn't as kind to you! The site made major changes since you last visited, so my guess is, that's why you hit this wall. (Some of us hit several walls after the changes: These changes come often, ay ay ay...)
So I suggest contacting the site, if you haven't already: They may be able to fix it. (You should've seen the writing gallery---yikes: Going back years, all the writing coalesced into a 'clump': no breaks, no paragraphs: We writers had a heart attack! But they changed it with a few bits of code...) So by all means, give them a try. And I can FULLY appreciate uploading a video (which you always work so hard on), to see this happen. I'm glad your other videos are fine. That's a good sign!

Thank you Mark for helping me find out if others could view my video or if it was just me on my end. I got sick at the beginning of the year and have not been able to participate on this site as much as I wanted to. I am feeling much better now and looking forward to viewing some of the wonderful art all of you have uploaded to this site. If I am not able to upload any videos, I will most likely have to upload the still renders in the mean time.
I thank you for your suggestion on contacting the administrators of this site, perhaps they can shed some light on this issue I am having. Have yourself a great week my friend! :-)

Sometimes a file doesn't quite save fully. Perhaps re-saving with a fresh title might help? Helps sometimes to save it as another file type, then open it again and re-save it with a similar name. Good luck!

Thank you Steve for your help and suggestions. I made a separate video using the same reliable h264 MP4 codec I have used before using a different name for the file and I still get the same results. I will most likely upload still renders for now or till I am able to contact one of the administrators on this site, to see if they can help me with this issue.

Thank you so much for your comment. This problem has been fixed by Phantom (gallery moderator) and I have just uploaded a new video to test it out and it works well now. Please click on the new video titled "Close Encounters" and it should work fine.
