Very striking fractal, Linda. And yes, I spotted the face immediately. Remarkably similar to the face of my old Latin teacher.

Beautiful image! Looks like some alien plant that has evolved to glow at night to attract moths ;) Like the subtle dark purple/blue texturing. I can see a small anguished looking 'face' near center, (if that is it! :) ......much prefer looking at your image as an exotic plant!
