Oh, well then, nothing can possibly be more important than the General catching his favorite show, can it?! Let's hope it's also the bad guys' favorite show! Cool lighting :-)

Oh my. =(
It's an excellently rendered and composed scene that speaks to one of my greatest fears: nuclear war. It always seems that those who might start it are at a distance from the result as in this picture. All the death and destruction isn't quite real to them; like watching a movie.
Very well done, if a bit disturbing. Thank you for sharing!

You are exactly right Molly. I made the mistake of thinking the the primary function of the military was to preserve the peace, but once you are in uniform all you are told is that you are there to KILL KILL KILL and that you must love war because war is your job. My neck hairs go up when I hear politicians claiming we should strike first, or generals from any nation claiming they have the best nukes or the most nukes so "we'll prevail" ... over what? Define prevail for me ... does that mean that they'll be spending their golden years in a lead lined bunkers eating canned goods while the citizens of their nations are scorch marks on the walls of their homes? For an administration so bent on "going green and saving the planet" that they are willing to destroy America's economy "for a few years", I find these assertions about America winning a nuclear conflict not only alarming but downright bizarre. Maybe my idea of "saving the planet" is out of date ... but I would sleep a lot better at night if our congressmen and media people would stop speaking about nuclear conflict like it's the annual Army/Navy football game. ... IMHO of course.
