Hey thanks. Actually all you do is load your scene or prop in Daz then go to export choose autodesk FBX. Select where you want the file to go and click ok. When it finishes open poser go to import FBX and there you have it.some scenes will be zeroed so you will have to place them in the right place, also you will have to add bump maps to textures and transparency if available. Try it out!

Hmmm gonna have to test this!

Yeah I found out from a commit from perpetualrevision. And I've been converting so many scenes and props, it definitely works.

And what a lovely view it is!! The room itself is lovely, as is the woodland hills view! The character looks very relaxed and at home, enjoying what's on the big screen (looks kinda like anime cheerleaders!).
Did you use the FBX method for this one instead of the DUF converter script? I find that the FBX method produces varying results. Sometimes everything is zeroed and I have to add bump and trans maps, and sometimes everything is in the right place and all the maps are there. I have yet to take the time to figure out what accounts for the difference. With object positions, the difference may be in how each object was originally saved for DS (as zeroed in location or translated there). As for maps, I always choose the 3Delight option, but I don't see why that would make it more likely for maps to be attached than choosing the Iray option!

Hey I used the Fbx export. And compared to Duf converting, this is gives me better results. I noticed for example, the Furyx ship model keeps all of its parts like the landing gear and cockpit in working order but without bump maps. However I have tried Duf converting the Furyx model, and it never finished converting. So for me I am very pleased with the FBX method. I had bought several Daz scenes and ships that would not work with the Duf converter but FBX works great. As far as the zero prop issue, it seems to be be more than half that are zeroed position. I hope to find a way to correct this issue in the future. Thanks so much for your insight, this has helped me and a lot other people. 🙂

great looking interior, wonder how it would look lit by an HDRI in lieu of the backdrop
