Description
My father wanted to see what the 3 dimensional view of the bookcase that he is building would look like. This scene took around 33 hours on a 1.75 Ghz machine due to the 124 lights in the scene. You can't see them, but there are rope lights under each shelf to provide more light for the front of book bindings. The rope lights look better when the room light is off :)
Thanks for stopping by!

Try using GI or HDRI, you`ll get better results in less time

I like this one very much...

Thanks for the comments, Sabbathian - I wanted to do it as close to the real thing as possible so that my father could estimate whether the rope lights would put off enough light to light up the front of the books. I do use GI and HDRI for most of my other stuff though :)
