Description
A peal of thunder and a huge flash of lighting shook the practice gym! Suddenly, the lights went out! Van Artell gasped a sigh of relief as Avery Goldman was on already on top of of him!
"That's it! We will have to call this a draw!" Van said.
"Not on your life!" Avery answered in the pitch blackness around them. "Dark or light, we are going to see this through!"
"Don't stop, Men!" Coach Armo said as his assistant coach pulled a large flashlight from the emergency kit on the wall and placed Avery and Van in a powerful mini-spotlight!
Van had used the distraction to roll over, but Avery was already on top of him and grabbing for his arms. A panic went through Van as he felt Avery's powerful muscles press down on him, forcing him to mat. Van glanced to the side and saw through the glare of the flashlight that the red-headed Cadet Ness Aldemot was recording the match on his phone!
"Oh no! Is he streaming this?" Van thought. ''Look at him and Cadet Spranger laughing at me! What if my Dad sees this?"
A wave of fear shot through Van as he felt Avery on top of him, sweat dripping on to his arm as Avery climbed even higher and reached to grab Van's wrists. Streams of light caught the dust floating in the air around him as Van struggled to get free and turn the tables on Avery!
