Just toying around in Flamepainter, came up with this piece. I just love the flow of the brushes in Flamepainter.

Yeah it's a pretty cool program. It works independently or as a plugin for Photoshop. Not a broad learning curve if you used Adobe products before because even though Flamepainter isn't an Adobe product, a lot of the controls are the same or similar which makes a lot easier if you have that background. But they have video walk-throughs etc, which detail everything so even if you are new to it entirely it's pretty easy to work with. Comes with a lot of free brushes and a lot of people upload more for free. Plus of course, additional paid options are available. I found it was very nice for making cool effects :)
