Description
After our little brainstorming session by the swimming pool, my little green friends
extend an invitation to me to tour their flying saucer. I have to restrain a chuckle
as the idea of them squeezing me into their little craft is rather amusing to me.
They assure me that size is no matter when it comes to their travel mode. It is what
is inside that counts the most and that all I have to do is accept their invitation
and they will do the rest.
I readily agree with a smile on my face which quickly disappears when I find myself
in a dimly lit chamber, standing next to an old Mercury. To say that I am shocked
beyond belief doesn't begin to describe the emotions running through my mind!
Seconds later, my little friends are standing beside me reassuring me that everything
is alright and to not be startled. This is just the beginning of a most exciting
and marvelous adventure for me. And they promise me that at the end of it, I should
be able to continue on with my story with no trouble at all!
I can hardly wait!
Oh! I suppose you are wondering, 'why the old Mercury?' Well, as it turns out, these
little guys are old car buffs and have quite a collection of what they refer to as
'ancient earth modes of transportation' that they like to display in various places
around their flying saucer for their own amusement. I like it that they chose this
particular vehicle since it was born the same year I was.
Thank you for taking a peek! Your support is greatly appreciated!

At least they have good taste in cars. Though, I'd be a little cautious about accepting an invitation to a little green dude's space ship. I saw that movie, it doesn't end well.

I love how friendly and helpful they look, and they know just how to appeal to a Radar_rad-dude character: with a shiny classic car!! Hmm, so now the question is: are they perhaps a wee bit too friendly? :-)

Cool scene, great classic car, love the Mercury... I'm sure the little guys intentions are good, and not leading the character into a false sense of security...

Please let these small friends you just met, know that there is also someone else touring the galaxy looking for great cars to collect. Others that have had their car stolen refer to him as the " The Alien Collector" so be careful and watch out for this Alien being as he just might be interested in that Mercury to add to his collection. :-)

Heh. This is one where the text really compliments the picture; it would be really hard to make much out of the story with just the image but taken in series with previous images and with the helpful text story... well, great stuff!
It's certainly fun to create a digital persona for yourself and enter your little imaginary universe, isn't it? I've done that and am currently inspired to do it a bit more, at least in part because I'm getting a kick out of your little story here. =D

Many thanks for this comment, Molly! I greatly appreciate you kindness with tips and spot on critiques! They are all very helpful in making me want to improve my images! Right now, I'm taking a little break from the story. I have sketched out a couple different directions this story could take and haven't nailed any one down yet! So my little 'trip' with the little green men just might help me decide more energetically which way might be the best way to proceed! And before I forget, I love all the work you are doing with your gallery! A most inspiring resource for me!

They look so happy to be showing off their ship and their cars. The lighting is cool and mysterious in this scene. I think this adventure will be a good one.
