I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

Tried Squishy and had a lot of pulling and distortion during tests using their base poses with unmodified figures. As is often the case with anything that fails to perform perfectly in every instance I uninstalled it. Probably needed to run longer simulations or tweak poses beforehand but patience (or a lack of it) comes at a price.

Hmm. I applied Fluer to the base. I almost wish I had put her in less clothing - because it turned out pretty nice. Needed just a couple tweaks. I was more surprised that the dforce clothing didn't protest, though I did it on a second run (Shutting off squishy human)
I use dforce companion, which helps a bunch.
I especially like how her breasts turned out. I might have to try running this on some other art I've been working on. Which should give it a real work out - lots of fun body shapes!

Looking great here, my friend! Always fun to have new toys to fiddle with!

Indeed! Means I spent more time getting the pistol positioned right than I did her pose/clothes.
