A follow on scene from the Afternoon dip image i posted using the "Bath Towel and Poses for Victoria 8" from daz3d
at full zoom the texture of the towel is actually quite convincing and rather impressive, the morphs are also top notch.

Great series of images! Yup, the towel looks surprisingly real.
Makes me think back to the time, when Poser 4 was all the rage and we where proud like heck of the "realism" of those renders (makes me chuckle). We've come a long way now, and we (hobbyists) are, with todays computers and software, now by and by in the position to create renders, where it get's increasingly difficult to distinguish it from a photograph. Sure, there are things, which still are difficult to do in 3d, but I'm sure, this is just a matter of time, until we have the required new technologies in our software, to overcome those hurdles as well.
