Description

Conner Kent, aka Kon-El, aka DC Comics's Superboy...well, one of them. (Other Superboys include young Clark Kent himself as the OG and, more recently, Superman and Lois Lane's son Jon Kent.) Introduced in the wake of 1993's Death of Superman storyline as a teenaged clone of Superman created by Lex Luthor's Cadmus Project, Conner was one of those vying to take over as Superman's replacement - at least, until Superman's inevitable return not long after. He was eventually revealed to be half-Kryptonian and half-human, created using Superman's and Lex Luthor's DNA (so yes, Conner is Superman and Lex Luthor's designer gayby!). He later joined Young Justice, got killed off and was dead for a while, and then came back (as you do) thanks to his YJ teammate Impulse. This is my take on the Conner of the Young Justice animated series, which uses the 2000s costume for him. In this outfit he's usually drawn as beefier, so my goal was to capture that while still keeping him looking young, as Conner of the show is eternally sixteen.
