Description
As always, this is the safe-for-Renderosity version. The naughty version with the dingly-dangly bits gets posted on the more deviant parts of the interwebs. You don't want to go there. It's awful. I mean...sure, yeah, it's fun. But awful. If you find that part of the web, you pretty much give up all hope of getting into heaven.
Doesn't bother me. I'm already doomed. I'm just hoping to slide under the pearly gates at the last second with a deathbed confession when St. Peter leaves the to go pee for a few minutes. Timing is everything when it comes to eternal salvation, you see.
The subsurface scattering on his nose (light going through thinner parts of skin like the nose, earlobes, and webbing of fingers) turned out really neat on the larger version where it's more visible. It looks pinker because of that. Little things like that make a render look amazingly realistic, and I usually get there on occasion completely by accident. But on a smaller version like this, you can't really see it. Just trust me. You would be impressed. Maybe.
The board shorts, however...just lousy. They look painted on. No shadows or anything. There's probably one single simple slider in the materials tab that fixes this, but I don't know where it is yet. I used Poser for so many years that I still haven't figured out the Daz equivalents on most of it. Daz is easier to use in most respects, and (I think) looks better than Poser 90% of the time, but there's a few things that Poser does much better. Or maybe it's easier for me just because I know how to do it in Poser and not yet in Daz. I don't spend as much time on renders as I used to. Maybe when I retire I'll get back into it more.

He's absolutely gorgeous! I might have to try going down that slippery slope on the ol' interwebs ...

It's all about lighting. I'm totally convinced of this. 90% of a pleasing looking render is lighting. And lighting is the hardest thing to get right.
