Description

"Okay, Zandya," Vreem said as he prepared to drop Sapphire out of hyperspace. "Here's your chance to see Centerpoint Station. And I guarantee it will be a short visit." "I just want to see it up close for myself," The woman said as she sat in the copilot's seat. "I've been to three of the planets in the Corellian system. But never the two that orbit the station." "Dropping out in three, two, one," Vreem said before the stars of realspace popped into view. And directly before them was the massive Centerpoint Sation. "There you go, that's it." "Wow," Zandya whispered in awe. "It is huge." "It is," Vreem said as he smiled. "And here comes company." "Well, well," A deep, yet familiar voice came in over the ship's com-system. "Mark 3, where have you been for the last fourteen years?" "Sorry to disappoint you, sir," Vreem replied. "But it's only me, Vreem Zarell." "Zarell?" Boz Corrin asked in shock. "Where did you meet your parents?" "I haven't met my parents," He replied. "The ship's transponder says it's the Sapphire," The Corellian Jedi said. "If you're not with your parents, then where did you find their ship?" "It turned out that the couple who gave me a ride off Coruscant knew my parents," Vreem told Boz. "And they put me in contact with the man who was caring for the Sapphire." "Well we can talk about this later," Corrin said. "You are in restricted space. Please be on your way. And I hope that way is Corellia." "Yes sir, it is," Vreem said proudly. "I'm coming home." "About damned time," Boz said as the two craft turned about. "I'm sending you coordinates that will bring you out in an orbit reserved for the Corellian Jedi. I'll come in with you, my mission here is finished." "Very good," Zarell replied as he enter the coordinates and made the jump. When the Sapphire dropped out of hyperspace Vreem found several Corellian Jedi Z-95s waiting for him. They quickly formed up around him while Corrin flew on. "Welcome home Vreem Zarell," One of the pilots said as he pulled up alongside his ship. "I am Master Jon Serilli, and we've been expecting you. We were told to escort you to our landing field where some politicians are waiting to ambush you with the press covering it. But I think you'd rather park your ship in one of your parent's bays." "Yes, sir, I would," Vreem said. "I really don't feel like facing those people right now." "Then I'll let the others fly on while I escort you to your berth," Serilli said as the others shot off. "Thank you Master Serilli," Vreem told him. "I appreciate it." "Follow me then," Serilli said as he jumped ahead of Zarell's ship. Vreem followed the Master in as Corellia grew in size. Soon they were flying over the spaceport at the southern districts of Corell City. Serilli soon hovered over an empty bay. "Here you go," He said. "One of your parents bays. We'd notified the renter that the owner was going to need it once more. Moved him to anther bay." "Thank you sir," Zarell said before slowly descending until his landing struts finally came to a rest on his birthworld. With a sigh, vreem turned to Zandya and smiled. "I'm home." "Maybe," She said as she turned to Zarell. "I've always found home is where you are happiest, not where you were born." "We'll see," He said as he stared out at the docking bay's entrance. Standing there waiting was Boz Corrin still in his flight suit and his wife, Magenta Montal. And before them stood their four children, Ulric, Emerald, and the twins, Lilly and Peenk. "Looks like the welcoming commitee is here." "Great!" Zandya said under her breath. "I was hoping to go back to our stateroom and celebrate your homecoming." "Our stateroom?" Vreem said as he turned to the woman. "You know I'll not be doing a lot of flying in this ship. I'll be in a fighter." "And when I'm on Corllia, I'll expect to stay on this ship in your little quarters," Zandya grinned. "And why won't you sleep in the larger stateroom?" "Those are my parents quarters," He said as they walked down the passage leading to the entry ramp. Pausing to open it, he turned to Zandya once more. "And I don't feel comfortable doing what we do in the bunk that I was most likely conceived in." "You make a good point," She said as they stepped down the ramp. "Look at them. Who would have figured that the most perfect couple in existence would have such perfect children." "Everyone!" Vreem said before whispering. "Watch out for the twins. Boz says they're a couple of brats." "Oh please, they're adorable!" She said in a huff. As if on cue, the blonde, Peenk, reached out and slapped her sister, Lilly. Magenta swiftly pulled her away from the redhead. "Then again..." "Master Corrin," Vreem said as he stepped forward and bowed his head to the tall Boz. "I would like to introduce you to Zory Ashter." "Hello ma'am," Boz said as he nodded his head in her direction. "It is a delight to meet you. And I would like to introduce the two of you to my wife Magenta." "It's wonderful to meet the two of you," She said as her son stepped forward and eyed Zarell warily. "Are you going to become a Corellian Jedi?" He asked him. "No," Vreem told him. "I'm going to become a fighter pilot." "Good enough!" The boy said as he thrust out his hand. "I am Ulric." "Pleased to meet you." Vreem said as he took the boys hand. "I'm Emerald," The black haired daughter said as she took Zarell's hand, then Zandya's. "But just call me Em." "And finally we have our youngest two, Lilly," Magenta said as she gestured to her red haired daughter. "And here we have the not quite sociable Peenk." "I refuse to believe that," Zandya said. "No, you'll find that she will be just that," Boz replied. "Until later, when it'll be Lilly's turn to act up." "Oh please," Zandya said as she smiled at the twins. Lilly smiled back as she tried to punch Peenk. Magenta's hand shot out and caught her fist in her own. "My brothers and I were the same way!" "Please tell me you got over it!" Magenta said urgently. "Yes, we got over it about the time I turned eight," Zandya told her. "Then there's hope," Magenta said wearily. "Let's hope so," Boz muttered under his breath. "Well anyway, come, we'll take you to the port manager's office. You have some paperwork to fill out. That is if you're having your parent's properties transferred to your name." "Yeah, might as well get it over with," Vreem said as he sealed his ship. "Though my parents are still alive." "Where are they?" Corrin asked. "I don't know," Zarell said before telling the Jedi of his Force vision. "Interesting," Boz said as they walked out the blast doors. "Describe the two men you were with." "One was a near-Human from what I could tell," He said. Zarell then grinned. "And the other was a young blonde, taller than you. And he was a Jedi, for he held a lightsaber. So did I." "So you return to the Jedi?" Peenk asked excitedly. "It would seem so," He replied. "But I got the feeling this was decades in the future. And the thing is, I got the feeling that the blonde boy is involved with your family." "Is that right?" Boz asked. "Do you know what kind of connection it is?" "I got the feeling it was a romantic connection," Vreem said as he eyed the twins. "Maybe one of these two?" "Was he good looking?" Lilly asked excitedly. "Of course," Zarell told her. "No other kind of man would do for you ladies." "Please, don't feed their vanity," Boz said as Zerell locked the blast doors and climbed into their waiting speeder. "They are bad enough as it is. All of them." "Excuse me?" Magenta said as she turned to her husband as he lifted off. "What do you mean by that?" "Montals are vain creatures," He said as he grinned at his wife. "All of you. It comes from being so perfect." "Well if you put it that way, then yes, we are vain," Magenta said smuggly before becoming serious. "But do not talk about the curse!" "Of course not!" He said before turning to a red faced Zarell. He felt a strong feeling of embarassment coming from the young man, as did Magenta. "Is something wrong, Zarell?" "You!" Magents said loudly. "You were the Padawan we'd heard about!" "What did you do?" Zandya asked as she peered at the blushing Vreem. "I didn't do anything!" He said quickly. "It's not that my mother didn't try!" The redhead said as she laughed quietly. "What did you do?" Zandya asked once more. "I'll keep pestering you until you tell me what happened." "Nothing happened!" He said insistently. "It happened when my mother was supposed to testify in the corruption trial of Senator Bal Brayor," Magenta said. "After assassins tried to kill her, the Jedi sent a Master and his learner to help the company's security personel guard her. She became obssessed with the Padawan. Sexually obssessed. They ended up having to bring in another pair for the job." "Oh really?" Zandya grinned at this revalation. But just as suddenly, the grin vanished. "Oh. It wasn't your fault, Vreem." "I know," He said quietly. "But it's embarassing." "Wait!" Corrin said as they landed in front of the spaceport's main offices. "Does this have to do with, well you know, you being more than Human?" "Who told you about that?" Zarell asked in shock. "Master Windu told the Masters on our high council," Boz explained. "And they told me and my Padawan, Naro." "Because they kept giving you two the assignment to convince me to return to Corellia," Vreem said. "Yes," Boz replied. "I heard Naro was knighted," Vreem said as he stared out the window at the Correl City skyline. "Yes, it was when we returned from the last trip to Coruscant," Boz Corrin told the young man. "He's thinking of taking on a Padawan now." "Good for him," Vreem said as Corrin made his descent. "I think he'll make a great teacher. Now let's get this over with." "I can't wait see how much money is in your parents account," Zandya said to Vreem. "You have fourteen years worth of docking bay rental fees waiting for you." "What am I going to do with fifteen million credits?" Vreem asked as the eight climbed back into Corrin's flyer two hours later. "first you're going to buy some clothes," Zandya said. "Then you'll buy a flyer. Something like an Archa-Deyo Swift Wing. Fast, but not flashy. Can't have my millionaire boyfriend taking public transportation. Especially if you're going to be a starfughter pilot." "Speaking of which," Boz said as he turned to Vreem. "Coruscant told us you wanted to fly a starfighter, so Master Serilli contacted Vice Admiral Moroni, the commander of the defense forces. When he learned you were coming home he was very excited. It would seem he's a bit of a fan boy. He's decided you are to be placed on one of the new Venators we got from the Republic, the Raven. Her commander is a friend of mine, Hass McMurdo. Good captain."

These renders are several years old. The stories I've been working off and on for about that long. I'm about ready to introduce my new character though. But there will be no renders to go with them, because my lap top stands no chance of running DAZ Studio. It can only make the simplest of renders.

WOW! I just visited your gallery (as promised when I responded to your post on my latest) and I see you are not fooling around! For a guy who's laptop "stands no chance of running Daz Studio," you've cranked out a lot of work! May Santa Clause be very nice to you this Christmas in that department!

Liked and Followed! I am excited to see what you do in future, ESPECIALLY if your computer power issue gets addressed favorably!

I have never seen one of your images in the main gallery. Today I was "wandering: around here and saw you were still posting. I remember you from waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back posting in some of my images. :) It matters not what computer you have, it's what you can produce with what you have at your disposal... Daz Studio is overrated... Poser is still King in my opinion. (no pun intended. Okay it was LOL)
