Description
Devon and Justin, the two pilots for Steve's expedition, just finish unloading
the last crate onto the truck when the sky darkens above them. Looking up, they
are shocked to see the flying saucer that seemed to attack them earlier that day!
'Holy cow! What the heck is going on here?' asks the lone local helper and driver
of the truck they are loading.
'I have a bad feeling about this!' says Devon!
Just then, a blue beam appears from the bottom of the saucer. In short order, it
engulfs all the crates on the back of the truck and they start floating up into
the bottom of the saucer! All three on the ground can only stand there and stare
upwards with their mouths wide open in astonishment!
Once the last crate disappears inside the saucer, it ascends rapidly and soon
disappears into the distance.
'What the hell?' asks Justin. 'I don't think Steve is going to like this. Perhaps
this explains what happened to his map and diary!'
'Well, I for one don't want to be the one to tell him about it. I'm going to
find a nice quiet room in town and honker down till Steve and party decide what
they want to do next. You can fill me in when you find out!'
'Gee thanks, buddy! I'll remember this! Well, don't get into any trouble. You
have this nasty habit of finding a low life watering hole and getting in over
your head. I don't think I will be in a mood to try and bail you out if you are
stupid enough to do it again!' says Justin as he approaches the truck driver.
'Can you give us a ride into town? We need to find a place to stay!' asks
Justin.
'Sure! No problem! You know, I've heard a lot of stories about them flying
machines! A fairly common occurrence here in Bermuda! But this is the first
time I've ever witnessed it!' says the truck driver/helper.
Thank you for taking a peek! Your support is greatly appreciated!

Hey, no fair, after they did all that work moving the crates from the airplane to the truck! The aliens could've at least spared them the trouble and taken the crates right from the plane :-) The local driver/helper guy looks kinda like he's thinking, "hey, aliens, take me too!" Another interesting development in the story!

"Yo, boss.... Guess what? A big ol' UFO swooped down and beamed up all your stuff! Really.."
Yeah.... I wouldn't want to be the guy delivering that line, either! 🤔
