After settling into their rooms and relaxing after their flight, Miss Leticia Finche and Steve Barlow meet down in the lobby of the hotel and await the return of Mel, their guide while they are in Bermuda. Mel is procuring the services of an ocean going ship for them to investigate the islands around Bermuda. Supposedly, they have a certain specific area they wish to check out as per information gleaned from an old map and diary. 'Well, Steve! That was a dirty trick you pulled on me outside when we arrived! You are lucky I had some cash in my purse, or I would have had to give you a non too subtle kick in the you know what!' 'Now Miss Finche! Please! Lets not start the sparring again over some little misunder- standings, shall we? I for one am looking forward to a good meal in a nice little restaurant. I'm not familiar with the local cuisine for this town. Most of my previous dealings down here have been elsewhere.' 'Well, I believe Mel will have some place in mind! I have a feeling she won't steer us wrong there. She seems to be quite the capable at handling things so far!' exclaims Leticia. And not more than a few moments later, Mel walks into the lobby with here now famous smile on her lips! 'Are you two hungry? I know this wonderful little restaurant nearby that serves the best Italian food! Are you interested?' Both Leticia and Steve agree to her suggestion enthusiastically. It is just a short walk from the hotel to the restaurant. Mel knows the owners so she is given extra preferential treatment by the staff. 'They have a really great famous entrée everyone on the island seems to like. I think you two would enjoy it as well. Should I order it for us?' asks Mel. 'Of course! We'd be delighted try it!' exclaims Leticia. A wink from Mel brings a bit of color to Leticia's cheeks. While they are waiting for their dishes to arrive, they content themselves with the fine red wine that has been placed at the table for their enjoyment. And enjoy it they do! As might be expected, Steve seems unable to display any social graces as he slurps down glass after glass of the wine and gobbles bread sticks like they were going out of style. It isn't long before their wonderfully prepared meals are served but by this time, Steve is getting so pie eyed, he barely realizes that a meal has been set before him. As they begin consuming this wonderful food, Justin, the main pilot on their airplane enters the restaurant rather cautiously. He has some bad news to tell Steve and has been putting it off all day until now. Not that he is afraid of Steve but he does hate to be yelled at for any reason. Justin approaches their table. Mel is the first one to notice him. 'Justin! How nice to see you again so soon!' as she winks at him bringing a blush to his face. 'Have you had supper yet? Won't you join us?' 'Well, I need to tell Steve something before I decide!' says Justin hesitatingly. 'So boss, you know all those crates we had to load onto the truck for you as you guys left us at the airport? Well, I hate to tell you this, and I'm sure you won't believe me, but, well, here goes! They were stolen by a flying saucer! A blue beam came out of the belly of the thing and sucked every last one of those crates up inside it! I kid you not!' 'Well that is jolly good!' slurs Steve. 'Guess we won't have to tote all that junk around down here now will we?' and with that, Steve passes out and falls face first into his dinner. 'Wow! That's kinda gross!
