Thanks! ^^

I saw this at the other place and faved it there, too. The model is lovely, for sure, but I am interested in how you accomplished the lighting. I'm assuming it was some sort of "cookie" placed in front of a spotlight?

Thank you! If I were in old school Firefly, I could just use a spotlight, attach a gel mask to the intensity, and it does the job on its own. However, [for some reason] that doesn't work in Superfly, so I put a few stretched cubes to block the light instead. The further away they are from the character, the fuzzier the shadows become.

Nicely done! I suppose you could've made a simple blinds prop to do the job, but stretched cubes work too :-) I love how vivid her eye and lip colors are against the muted tones of the rest. And I love how you got the light to fall across her face!

Thank you, Amy! I actually made an animatable blinders prop, but cubes are easier to place and control when all we want are the long shadows. ^___^

Ehh.. because of those eyes..
Glamorous bombshell, awesome atmosphere and lighting, brilliant render. Ehh..
Magnificent Masterpiece of Finest Arts. I love it, you bet I love it!

Thank you! Special attention to the eyes, since they are the first thing people will look at. ^___^/

Sometimes I just think you do it on purpose.., I mean the magnetic fields..

This was the 2nd composition attempt. First one went to the trash bin after 2 days (more of the same, ugh!), but I could reuse the character on this new scene. Sometimes it's good to sleep on it for a day, and if we don't like it then, have to try something else. ^o^
mifdesign
I'd better don't look again, otherwise I'd start thinking like you, sleeping on it for a couple of days, again and again..😊
You'd better check the bin, it must be on fire..😂

Haha it took me a while to start putting limits on how long I will work on a scene. If we get too critic of it, we may never finish. I only sleep on it IF I am not sure if I like the final result. In this particular case, I saw that in the first version I was doing more of the same, so I started over. I am glad I did, because the new version is much better. ^__^

Pretty picture, It looks like the old "film noir" photos that picture studios did in the old movies from the 40's and 50's.

Thank you! I have yet to try noir style in my gallery. ^____^
