Hi Everyone,
Poser started out as a hobby during a time when I was unemployed. I accidentally ran across a web page that showed pictures of Michael 2. I thought he was adorable and I had to learn more! The great part of this program is that I never stop learning. I've met some absolutely fabulous people through the art communities online, and none moreso than right here at Renderosity!
If you take a peek at my gallery, you'll soon see it's no secret that I like men! ;^) And there aren't that many people doing images of guys, so I'll stick to what I like and know best for the most part.
I want to thank all of the people who inspire and support my artistic visions, and those who also share their own artistic visions! Whether you render and post, or just view and comment, I want you to know that I appreciate each and every one of you.
luv'n'huggz,
'cardo ;^)

I had a great deal of trouble transferring Poser data from an old PC to a new one twice before. If the data files are in the program directory, they don't seem to transfer. Maybe you could try and copy the data files into a document file and then transfer them to the new PC. The other option that I resorted to was to go back to the site that I bought them from and reload them... It took days to do so. I lose some of my favorite products when RDNA went off-line, because I couldn't copy them and DAZ didn't have available. Best of luck!

In a situation like this, I would pull the old hard drive out and connect it to the new PC to transfer the runtimes. You should note where all the files are located beforehand so it would be easier to find. Yeah, it's more involved but you still have access to the data. In P11, you can resize the Library icons, you need to open the lower portion of the Library and use the slider to adjust the size to your liking.

Though I'm working mainly with DAZ-Studio since years, I always keep my Content in a separate directory on a "non - System" Disc (so let's say C: is the system Disk, then my content is on a second drive or at least partition. I don't have it in my "Users" directory and in no circumstances in any "Program file" Directory. That way I just can copy the whole Directory to the new computer or even put that drive in the new computer and everything works perfect. DAZ-Studio makes it even very convenient, to have several different Library-Folders and access them all together (almost as if they where one). So I keep my programs and my data strictly separated. This worked as well when I switched from Poser 6 to 7 and then from 7 to 2012 and then to 2014 and at last to Poser 11....

Dont know if this will help but i transferred my runtime like you didn't show up but this link fixed mine, they transferred but was not showing. It was because of Adobe discontinued. May not be the same for you, mine is not newest version.

I feel the pain. As for the thumbnails, go t the dots under the library and open that window. There is a section "Tree" you can change the thumbnail size there

WHere is the problem with the content on the new computer? Can you find it on the hard drive using explorer, but not in the runtimes, or does it appear to be missing from the hard drive? If it's the latter, you might try Everything search from voidtools. It can find things on your computer as fast as you can type. It might be the content copied to the wrong place.
If it's on the other computer, I'd do like hborre said and put the old drive into the new computer. If you don't want to leave the drive there, you can drag and drop the files to the new computer.
If it's on the drive, you just need to add those locations to your library to use them.
Don't be afraid to post in the forums if you need more help.

I do the same as FurNose - ALL my Poser content is on a separate drive, and I just link to the folders from Poser. Saves a lot of headaches. And I have a couple backups as well. The Adobe Flash EOL issue didn't help with the older version of Poser (i.e. 2014). P11 has a newer interface. Give that link above a try. Hope you get it all back - that would be super-maddening to lose everything.

I posted in the forums, and with invaluable assistance from hborre, I was able to find my files and move them to the new computer, install them into my stand-alone Poser 7 Runtime, and actually access them! Thank you all for your kind words and support!

Glad you got it all sorted! I was only offline for a couple days, and so much happens! At first I thought that was your render, but maybe it's reflection of your frustration?

Thank you! The photograph is just an "I quit" meme! I was so mad I was ready to throw in the towel!
