I got a check from the insurance of the man that hit my bumper with his trailer hitch on a 2022 GMC Sierra pickup "not his".
I had the body shop make repairs and I paid the shop when I picked up the 4Runner. I had deposited the check in my account. I got a notice today that the check had been declined. there was no reason given. I finally got a hold of the lady that handled my claim. she told me that the insurance had wrote 2 checks. she has no idea why. the first check had been declined by the insurance. hopefully I will get the second check tomorrow. I am glad that I am able to call her, because she has some influence

I hate dealing with insurance claims and stuff like that. It seems like they do their level best to make it as complicated and error-prone as possible.
