Description

It takes almost five hours to get the the coordinates Miss Finche gave the Captain. The crewman, Sean, spots the island first. He shouts to the Captain as it becomes visible to everyone else. 'Well I'll be! If that don't beat all. I've been fishin all around this area for years and never once came across this island. Very strange indeed!' 'The diary writer says there is fresh water an abundance of fruits and other edible vegetation. Only birds visit the island. No other predators mentioned. Strange that no one came back here after that explorer was rescued.' 'There are a great many mysteries here in the Bermuda triangle. Many unsolved and fascinating mysteries!' says Mel. Soon, the Captain has to bring his vessel to a halt as he can tell the water is getting shallow pretty fast. 'You gals will have to take the dingy the rest of the way. I don't want to get stuck in this sand. We'll keep an eye out for you. Mel has a walkie talkie with her. We can keep in touch that way.' 'I don't think we will stay on the island very long. I just wanted to see if it really existed for the first phase of this expedition. Once we explore it a little I'll have a better idea of what we need to bring back the next time we come here.' Miss Finche says. 'Well, just to be safe, besides the walkie talkie, I have a pistol just in case there is anything dangerous not mentioned in this diary you keep quoting from.' says Mel. The Captain and Sean lower the dingy over the side of the boat and drop a ladder down to is. Mel descends first and helps Miss Finche into the dingy as she descends after. Then it is off to the island to see how accurate the diary is. Thank you for taking a peek! Your support is greatly appreciated! The background island was created in Bryce 7. Sorry for the poor quality of my post work with the water on the boats. I've never been very good at working with waves. Something I wish I was better at. Well, you use what you have. LOL.

Another very good beat in a very enjoyable sci fi fantasy adventure! =)

I'm curious about the boat; it's a lovely piece of content.

Thanks for sharing, I'm continuing to enjoy!

Always a pleasure to read your comments, Molly! I can't thank you enough for sharing your thoughts and insights! As for the boat, I just tried to find it again. It was a freebie someplace, that is for sure, but visiting my usual haunts didn't produce a hit. It shows up in my runtime as the M F Kutter, if that helps. Perhaps if you are in an adventurous mood sometime, you might stumble across in doing an internet search? Anyway, best of luck if you try, and thanks again, muchly, for continuing to visit my story! Have a great day!

The Bermuda Triangle is proving to quite an interesting place for your characters to explore at depth. I have to congratulate you on the great job you have done with both the story and the scenes...they look awesome! I specially like how you posed Miss Finche going down the ladder onto the small boat, you missed no details in making the scene look so good! There is no need to apologize for the water as it looks fantastic just the way you have it. Now its time to go get a bowl of popcorn and continue with the next episode of this great story. :-)

And when the mist rolls in and the island is gone when it clears..... 😲

Seriously great addition to the story, Bill! Can't wait to see what Mel and Miss Finche encounter - and if they make it back to the boat.

Water is a PITA to try and get looking right - especially waves. Trust me, I've spent hours at times messing with them - which is probably why the TNA Girls don't get wet too often! LOL

Now who's island is it... Dr. Doom, Wonder Woman... or dinosaurs! Maybe big man-eating spiders.

Don't know how frightening this is supposed to be but there's an element of foreboding rearing its head here. Lookout girls! Stay safe! AND...Not a Buick or Nash in sight! lol

Off they go with a pistol against the unknown...:)

Guessing the aliens have something fun waiting for them. All sorts of possibilities, comic and tragic.
