Description
Nights were always hard moments for Sophie. The beatings from her father, the verbal abuses from her mother, the fear and the hatred toward her she could see in the eyes of her parents and siblings, plus her abandonment, had let her very traumatised and every time she fell asleep she had awful nightmares.
They were happening every nights when she arrived at the University of Magic. Fortunately, she found there Master Roland and Mistress Cleo who had accepted to raise and educate her to make her a Magician. Master Roland was gentleness incarnated. Mistress Cleo was very strict, but she was also fair and supportive and, she was always here for Sophie when she had her nights terrors. Comforting her, with Roland, and showing tenderness and careness.
It was now a little more than a year that Sophie entered in the University of Magic. The nightmares were starting to space out, even if they were still regular. But with the attention and the love given to her by Cleo and Roland, they would continue to fade.
First simple studdent they had accepted to raise, everyday spent with this shy and sweet skinny little girl made the love of the two Magicians for her grow more and more and, few years later they adopted her officially. Sophie stopped then to call them master and mistress to call them father and mother.

A sad picture here, but with a happy ending story. Even if Sophie's early trauma might always have some repercussions on her.
I had this picture in mind for a very long time and I am glad to have finally done it. I am very satisfied with the result, it's very close to what I had in mind. Though, I find the picture to be still too grainy. But to have it without grain, I would have had to render it for waaaay longer than it has already did.
I really have a problem, because my favorite scenes are interior scenes, lit with candles or a chimney fire and forest scenes. Both being among the longest scenes to render. Sigh...
Anyway, I have two more pictures I want to make first, but I think after these, I will restart to work on the storyline pictures. I'll do it slowly, but surely. ^^
