The truck is a M6 Bomb Service Truck made by Chevrolet and a common truck on USAAF airfields during WWII. Chevrolet produced about 7,000 of these trucks during World War II. Though it could be used a "run-about" on any airfield and in ammunition dumps, it was custom built to support bomb loading. The hoist on the truck was commonly used to load individual bombs onto bomb trailers. In bomber units it typically towed multiple trailers (up to 5) loaded with 500 lb. bombs. In fighter-bomber units it was common for the truck, armors and ground crew to load a pair of of 500 bomb bombs to aircraft such as the P-47D.
Both the truck and aircraft are 3D models which have been heavily custom retextured.
