Description
Hi, i try to rebuild Frazetta´s Character with a render :)
Figure: Dain 8 HD, Death Knight Armor DAZ, Bonebreaker Armor, Albion Weapon set (i search long time for the axe), the awesome Helmet from Poisen with light shader adjustments, DAZ Horse 2, Horse Armor from Linday DAZ
Environment: Yosemite HDRI from Dimension Theorie DAZ, one spotlight.
Edit: sorry forgotten to mention the ground, it´s a ground plane with a ground shader from DAZ...

Yes he is one of my all time favorite artist. I remember discovering his work as a youngster and how it amazed and inspired me in my art. Another favorite artist was Michael Whelan. This is a nice tribute.

Hi, thank you :) I grew up with fantasy. I devoured novels, especially Conan (Robert E. Howard). Frazetta was a master, maybe The fantasy art master. Michael Whelan looks familiar to me "The Dark Tower" is probably THE picture of him. Boris Vallejo should also be mentioned for heroic fantasy. However, my absolute favorite is still Luis Royo, his works are breathtaking and often of much colder (feminine) beauty... Greetings Stormrider75
