Description
After Cadet Avery Goldman defeated Cadet Van Artell in front of the whole wrestling team, Van was depressed and dreading that he will have to be Avery's servant for a whole month! That was the bet they both made, So how could he get out of it? Things for Van went from bad to worse when a video of the Wrestling match began circulating among the Cadet's social media network. Van had seen that the red-headed Cadet Ness Aldemot had recorded it and now he was getting teased and jeered everyday, while Avery was getting a lot of positive attention. The nickname a Cadet gets can stay with him for life and make or break his future career! "Gold" "Goldy" and "He's Gold" had become popular nicknames for Avery Goldman. What horror would Van be stuck with? So far, he wasn't even important enough to warrant a bad one! And, just when things started to die down, someone took security camera footage of him shoving Avery and challenging him and added it to the start of the wrestling match footage, causing it to go viral and get a lot of views! "Punk Cadet gets what's coming to him" was the title went it went viral on the Galacti-Net and now Van was a laughing stock all over! From all the comments posted, Cadet's at hundreds of other Academies couldn't wait to brutally wrestle him or take him down a peg! Van couldn't sleep at night for fear of what could happen if his Dad finds out about it all! Now, Van got a text message from Avery that he wants to talk to him and he will be by his bunk room tomorrow! Van is worried his nickname will become "servant!"
These portraits of Avery and Van represent how they felt in the days after their wrestling match and how the footage of it on social media affected their lives.
These unique portraits were made with my own renders of them processed through Wombo Dream App and then postworked by me.

In the games people play, there are winners and losers! I don't feel sorry for the loser in this instance other than that his upbringing brought him to this predicament! Well, he might not survive a meeting with his father after his father sees the footage! Poor guy! And a pair of splendid portraits! Well done!

I just hope that Van has learned a lesson about how bullies never win. I suspect Avery isn't going to treat him the way he fears, and perhaps that will also help him learn a valuable lesson! The portraits really show their different emotions, even with the abstraction created by the art effects you used!
CoolDimension
Thank you, perpetualrevision! I already have had those next scenes done a few days ago and you will be interested to see what happens!

a really creative approach to your storyline, I really like your description, and how you show the two people in your images. Avery has a boyish "come on, bring it on" look, fitting for your description of him. He looks almost like a young tough-guy hero from a 1940s film. I love the rough texture, and the way you rendered his shirt, and the slapdash energy of his face. Really well done.
Van's depression---considering what he's in for, and how media treats people---is painted all over your portrait. Fine expression, and you used reds very expressively in his eyes and mouth (even outlining his ears---those outlines remind me of Cezanne's fruits). I also like his pose---as if he kind of 'slid' into the image from the right. More fine texture/grit, and the tone is almost like you painted it on age-yellowed paper, or even on leather. Really well done---both images---and they suit your description perfectly.
