I love the variations on those segmented circles...they seem made of chrome, and you've caught them in various forms and expressions throughout the piece---some of which are ghosts and shadows. Your background is an aged parchment color (or paper color), and it makes quite a contrast with those metallic shiny blues. You get a lot of ghostly images here---these shapes are seen in many different states-of-mind (so to speak). Theres something dark about it---maybe part of why you called it miopic (which originally meant "nearsighted"---as if these shapes are simply seen out of focus). Terrific abstract, Nikolay. Like all your others.
