Description
The story is fictitious but the hotel is real and today looks like you see it in the images.
The model of the Hotel Ukraine was modeled in Blender by Mikhail Savenkov by a process
called photogrammetry where a model is constructed from real images either from a drone or still images.
The detail is not great on close ups and the model is quite small, around 8 MB because it relies on texture
rather than object detail but it gets the point across showing the indiscrimainate destruction of civilian property
all over Ukraine.
There are many other 3D models using this method and many more from Ukraine will be
added showing the destruction every now and then.
I think the scale is correct. I used the wrecked compact car as a guide.
The JLTV and LaFrance are large vehicles in reality. To me it looks right.
