oh thank you so much, Barb---I love it! You got the lady of the lake---in a really primal setting too, I love that you set it in what looks like the first days of Creation...Also you added the squirrel, the hedgehog (I forgot about him!), the fallen sword, the birds, and an apocalyptic first-day-of-creation, where the sky and water look like they just came out of the big bang. (You know, I forgot how commanding chartreuse was: I just threw that into the tale because it sounded silly and totally out of place...Your image is magical w/ it.)
Another of your wonderful pieces, and I'm honored that you based this on my loopy writing. I also love that the lady of the lake is black---not the usual white of fairy tales---and from the tropics or some exotic location; and that the squirrel's looking on once more...And the guy? If he's supposed to be 'me' (because I talk to her in my tale), he's a major improvement. Really! (My whole head of hair could fit into his mustache...) I never cease to be amazed how you make these images from bits and pieces, when the results are so whole. It's magical and luminous, as all your pieces are, and thank you so much, you don't know how much this hit the spot right now. It made my day. Thank you for this wonderful piece!

This is really lovely work!

Wonderful scene! This is likely a story with a romantic adventure of alcholes. Temptations of the sweet scent of fruits will be mightier than swords. And people forget about conflicts.

Quite a story you pointed to; certainly involved a lot. =)
I like this picture and aside from the story I thought of the Lady in the Lake of Arthurian legend. Thank you for sharing it, Barb!
