Description

Some three axle Leyland Hippo have been built after the end of WW2 and some of these vehicles were operated by Davis Brothers, London, during the 1940s and 50s. One of the ugliest truck ever built during the 20th century. I have been fascinated by this awful model! It's strange to see that the English designers have been able to create such wonderful sportscars during the 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s - Morgan, Triumph, Jaguar, MG, Austin Healey, Marcos and so on - and so many awful Leyland trucks during the same period. My next model will have a far more beautiful design!

C'est vrai qu'il aurait comme une gueule de bulldog mais ton talent a su en faire un objet digne d'intérêt ; en tout cas, je lui (te) souhaite beaucoup de succès.
