Description
When they reached the door to the enormous manor, Gregor placed his palm against a scanning plate. The device made a cheerful sound and a computer generated female voice said, "One moment or use keypad for further options." Gregor turned to his sister and said, "Let's wait for someone to open the door. I don't like using the keypad to enter without someone from the manor. I could, but it always seems disrespectful to me to do."
Presently the door opened and an imposing, dark-skinned woman stepped into the warm sunlight and immediately grinned. "Gregor! So good to see you. I'm still waiting for you to paint me!" She laughed. "I mean paint a portrait of me. I've seen the pictures you make of Miss Dorotea." She sized up Vladlena and said, "And you must be little sister with an appointment with the professor. Wait, don't tell me: Vladlena? Right?"
Lena found herself smiling and nodded. "Da. Hoping we are on time."
Gregor cleared his throat. "This is Mrs. Hamilton, little sister!"
"Ella! Ella will do!" the woman stated.
"Perhaps we should not keep Professor waiting?" Gregor ventured.
"Of course, come in out of the sun, you two! She's in her study. You know the way, don't you, Gregor?
"Yes. I also know where the guest bathroom is. I'll let little sister freshen up a bit and then we'll see the Professor!"

Vladlena Bubnoff is based upon the wonderful and much neglected mesh Bella 1.2 by Ali and available at his website mankahoo. Her brother Gregor is based upon L'Homme with shape and texture by the ever-so-talented Tempesta3d. Ella is based on La Femme with modifications by Afrodite-Ohki.

Thank you! I did quite a bit of modifying and kit-bashing with this door. The one in Cristophe3D's content wouldn't open just for starters. =)

Hello, Ella. Nice to meet you! Love the texture on your dress! Oh wait, it was Lena being introduced to Ella. So sorry about that :-)
Great looking scene with an amazing entry area! The hand scanner is a nice touch and definitely makes it clear that while the house may be pretty old, it's updated with the latest technology! In this light, it's clear that Gregor needs to spend a wee bit more time in the sun :-)

Heh. Yeah, the dialogue is a bit awkward as Ella kind of runs conversations. I had fun deciding on textures for her outfit to emphasize she is one of those large, flamboyant personalities. Adding the tech seemed important to me as I want the house staff to be small so I am figuring that the Van Humbeek sisters will have a lot of automation and tech to supplement a small staff. Finally, Gregor... >.< I haven't messed with his textures at all and he is a pale one, isn't he? XD

Another study in intriguing contrasts. I's hate to be the electrician who wired all the tech into that old house. Dorotea can afford but....:)
I'm with perpetual - Gegor looks a bit ashen. Why do I think there's more to this that translucency settings?

Heh. Tempesta3D made him pale (maybe thinking of him as a Goth or Vampiric type) and it really comes out in the bright sunlight I was using for this scene. Otherwise, he's just you average Russian exchange student expatriate who is a talented artists and happens to have stumbled into a graduate assistant position with Professor Van Humbeek. XD
