Vel-Ahlon, the Legendary Lover. His deeds in the dominion of love were beyond what a person could imagine and because of his 5000 years of existence, the incredible truth was often mingled with the myth. Adventurer and lover of women of all races, it is said that he succeeded to court and seduce all the women of an orkish clan, who were alone, before to fight all the males, when these returned to their clan and to leave unharmed due to his incredible skills in the handling of his sword. It is also told that one day he managed to shrink in size, with the help of a magician friend and to seduce the thousand women of a fairy colony. It is said he has been in the unknown lands of the far-est, far beyond the Mountains of Madness. There he has lived extraordinary adventures and met a lot of new and exotic women. In one of these far away countries, he fell deeply in love with an empress, who loved him in return. But she got mudered and he was accused wrongly of the atrocious act. Forced to flee, he returned to the west, in Tyrnaelva. Now back in the continent of his youth, Vel-Ahlon heard of this castle where a beautiful princess lives. But he learned that she was struck with an awful malediction. A malediction that was forbidding her to fell in love. When he heard that, he swore on his raised sword to do everything in his power to free the beautiful princess of her curse. __________________________________________ So, this is Vel-Ahlon the High-Elf seducer. The other day I thought it would be funny to have a sort of Casanova character in my world and who's better than a 5000 years old Elf to know everything about love (and love making). I thought first to do a very basic portrait to introduce him, then the idea to do something in the spirit of these cheesy romantic/erotic book covers came to my mind. I think I succeeded to emulate the feeling of that kind of covers. What do you think ? For the text, I was not planning to write anything in particular either, but I thought it would be amusing to have a sort introduction/resume, like if it was actually one of these erotic books. Maybe there is actual books telling his adventurers in Mindelmar. If they exist, I am sure they are very popular in the courts of the different human kingdoms and that noble women love to read them in the secrecy of their rooms. :D
