Ute, this is beautiful. It's a scene out of a 19th Century novel or old fairy tale. And that's a beautiful windmill---truly, it's a great choice. And you have beautiful mists, and a great old cart (with a big black crow on it, or a raven maybe?)...all under a looming, magical sky.

The maiden is right out of a Vermeer painting, or an illustration from a 19th C. fairy tale book. Also, I love the light on her---she's lit from the side: Your lighting in this image has real mystery. Thank you so much, Ute---it's magical and beautiful, and charmed. It's one of your sweetest fairy tale images...beautifully done. (And those birds in the sky remind me of Barb (bakapo)!---a perfect addition!) Thank you again, I greatly appreciate this, it's beautiful. I'll get to more of your wonderful images soon. Stay healthy and well!
