a delight...I love that central cat, great choice (incl whatever you may have done to it), w/ tiny nose and mouth surrounded by a huge face, eyes, etc. (The essence of cartooning.) And I love the bird on top---looks a bit like Tweety (from I don't remember where); and a big sunshine-y cartoon background, with a big sun, what I assume is a big rolly mountain with a white cloud on top, that beautiful cherry blossom tree, a solo barn with 2 silos---their choice as the only bldgs here is pure charm---some roosters and a horse, etc. (And of course your birds---who almost seem to be spelling something out!) Pure cartoon joy. And a great choice for Ute, who jumps from style to style effortlessly, and creates all kinds of play in her work. Beautifully done, Barb. Forgive my lateness, I've just been really tired...but I can't stay away from your work too long...Even the layered green field is cartoon magic...voila...
