Description

I had a vision of draping cloth while the character was being carried. Then I went for the low sun in the background saturating the scene. Mostly color correction for post production along with the lens flare. I did encounter a problem with one of the character having a dramatic pigment shift. I guess the lighting was just a LITTLE off in one part. I had to move some things around, up the radius of the light, and it fixed the problem. Post production also made Esther's eyes greener, more intense. That was part of my goal to ensure she looked unearthly (considering Nina generally has red eyes in the promo shots and you can't see her face dead on). Doing the dForce wasn't super pleasant for this one, but I didn't get too many explosions. Just had to make a few random adjustments here and there to get what I needed. Came out the way I hoped though. You can see the comic here: https://tapas.io/series/Malevolence1
