Very nice...but I do have two small gripes.

You've gone to all the trouble of making a very nice chain maille section (which must have eaten polygons), but you've skimped on polys on the "main dome." See the "straight sections" in the profile and the front view instead of a nice, smooth curve? It makes it look well....CG-ish.

As for the maille itself, you don't really have them quite interlocked how they are supposed to be. (I only noticed this because I have made maille.) What you have are "chains" hanging from the rim of the helmet. Such a design wouldn't really offer much protection as the chains would constantly be swinging apart (like long hair does) instead of remaining in one "sheet". Here's a link to a good pic of the maille pattern with a bit of explanation of maille (since I felt this was not the appropriate place to go into it).

Fix those and you've earned yourself an "Excellent!"smile.gif
