As all Melniboneans, Sol is regarded as noble by the other peoples of the Young Kingdoms, as well as being a warrior-priestess dedicated to Arioch, the knight of swords and patron Chaos lord of the Bright Empire. However, unlike most of her kin, chooses not to lose herself in drug-induced dreams of ancient glories and private perversions. Instead, she finds the same euphoric fulfillment through her worship of Arioch in the personal gallery-shrine of her lavish tower villa which features “objects of living art” tend by half-Melnibonean acolytes, that often includes depraved, carnal and somewhat sadistic rites. One of the few Melniboneans to leave the luxuries and seclusion of Imrryr, she has journeyed to several of the Young Kingdoms, finding the library of the University at Cadsandria in Argimiliar particularly interesting due to the surprising number of insightful works on interdimensional travel and the Million Spheres. Which is where she became acquainted with the renegade Dragon Lord, Daeron Syn, who was granted the knowledge to use a more chaotic and unrestrained form of sorcery practiced in the East by Slortar, the old, but foresworn allegiance to any of the higher lords… and has made rigorous strives to lure him into Arioch’s service.
Although, like nearly all Melniboneans, she sees herself as superior to humans, Sol is neither aloof nor brusque, celebrating life with a veracious hunger and capricious nature. Truly devoted to Arioch, the preeminent lord of Chaos in the Young Kingdoms, patron of the Bright Empire and Knight of Swords, she strives to exhibit the noblest and most alluring facets of her faith. However, her casual sadism and lack of compassion show that she is unrestrained by human concepts of morality.
Sol is occasionally compelled to aggressively pursue carnal pleasures with the most attractive party/parties available regardless of their interest or willingness, being unaccepting of any resistance to her seduction.
Tall, slender and lithe with unmistakable feminine charms Sol has strikingly beautiful, inhumanly angular features as well as lobe-less tapered ears which mark her race, all cast in a fair bronze skin tone, while her eyes are brilliant emerald green and her near waist-length deep raven hair is typically pulled up in a tight tail. Although more subtle than many of the ladies of the Ruby court, she does often use kohl eyeliner and makeup as well as dyes to darken her lips.

Summoned by the Melnibonean warrior-priestess of Arioch, Phaeress Sol, using a combination of a brazier of power spell and empowerment drugs, then bond to a 4” diameter black metal disk stamped with the symbol of Chaos, Kalos typically awaits his mistress’ call on his native hell, seeming to erupt from the token in a burst of fire and brimstone when recalled to the Young Kingdoms. A creature literally born of Chaos, he faithfully and freely serves his mistress as both a warrior and bodyguard.
A good deal more intelligent than he seems, Kalos has no interest in interacting with the mortals of the Young Kingdoms, preferring to be seen as nothing more than a barely sentient creature of hell who blindly follows his mistress’ commands. However, in truth he is fanatically loyal to her over and above the compulsion of her binding or her service as an agent to the Lord of the Seven Darks, being both aggressively protective and highly possessive.
A towering presence with a wide, male-like frame, Kalos appears to be a roughly hewed of lava and black stone with wickedly clawed hands (see Claw below), fangs (see Bite below) and cruel beady eyes of flaming red. Although he does radiate a small amount of heat, it’s not significantly more than any living thing, being only around 1000, until he gouts a wide fan of fire (see Gout Fire below) from his mouth.
