Description

I'm still trying to sort out just how I felt after seeing the second installment in Peter Jackson's portrayal of Tolkien's epic Ring saga. On the one hand, I'm a big fan of the original books, and read them over and over since discovering them in high school lo these many years gone by. And there were some very significant departures from the books in The Two Towers. Despite these departures, the film was most entertaining; it was just a lot harder to accept it as "Lord of the Ring" than the first movie was. So I'm definitely torn, though perhaps not disappointed.

One thing I'm decidedly not disappointed about though are the characters. Casting did a remarkable job in both films, and the actors insofar as I am concerned are fantastic; they are the Tolkien characters. With that in mind, here is my attempted rendition of the heir to the throne of Gondor. Hope you all will enjoy him.

The Cast:

A rather short cast list this time. Aragorn is, of course, played by Daz's Michael 2, and his texture is the fine Digiman (Bearded Version) by frankfunk. He's wearing the Adventurer Gear, also from Daz. Hair, background, framing, and beaucoup postwork by yours truly.

Thanks for stopping by. Comments/suggestions always very welcome.

Peace,
Morgan

Morgen bis zum halb acht. (In the morning at 7:30) as I watched the movie on a large screen I was eminnently aware of how majestic scenery templates into cutouts like a diorama in the clear air. The characters then in the closeups were rivetting. Here his eyes have the movement just at the moment of presentation.
