I'm always impressed when you suggest a whole world with just one view---here, your title suggests a land of giants; but we only peek in at one very special, isolated instance of the giants: a gigantic skull in the ocean---and a very stormy ocean at that. This could be very ominous, suggesting that the land of giants has been decimated...but it could also just be the usual debris that's left wherever there is life. The giants might be well and good, just a few miles down the road: We don't know, and that mystery is very sweet.
You use a deep green-slate-blue palette, and, but for the man's flesh, you don't let up: It's a deep stormy scene, or perhaps pre dawn (as the moon's out); and it feels like a primal place w/ only a few 'normal' signs---a starfish, and some other detritus on the left that I can't make out, except that it looks like it definitely belongs on a beach. The highlighted crests give real drama too, under a deep dark sky. I love what you leave out as much as what you put in: a wonderfully suggestive piece that leaves everything open; and the guy looks happy even though he's standing next to a skull that would have me outa that place in a new york minute. Another gem from you, and a big ditto to Wolf. I second the motion on all accounts. I love the image.

Reminds me of an episode of "Love, Death & Robots" I enjoyed very much called "The Drowned Giant". If you get Netflix, I recommend it. Thanks for sharing! =)

That would be a rather startling discovery, but he looks happy about it, so perhaps he finally has proof of a theory he's been trying to publish for ages! Love how the ocean is splashing against the skull!
