Been out of the 3d world for a while. This was a Maya Personal Learning Addition tutorial that I modified for Cinema 4d 8. I wanted to test out the sub-d weighting. Very cool

well, it's very nice work, but it's kinda squatty innit? The wood should also come up to the same level or slightly above the hammer head as well.

It has a sort of cartoony feeling to it, which is quite nice. I agree with bonestructure, though -- the wooden handle should be slightly elevated above the hammer head.

Yes, cartoony, I was trying to stay away from a realistic looking hammer. It makes me think Roger Rabbit...
