Hello, all. I'm a couple days late this month, but here ya go! As many of us know, July 4th is the officially recognized birthday of the USA. Maybe some day we'll have reason to celebrate it again. After all the political soap operas and clown shows finally end. Soon, I hope.
But it's also Dan's birthday - and may you have many, many more, my friend! As such I thought it would be perfect to bring Dan's trio of lovelies in for the July calendar. And who needs fireworks with these three around?
With everything that's been going on here, my creativity has taken a pretty good kick to the ol' gonads, but it's beginning to come out of its slumber now. So I AM going to be getting back to work on the TNA story. And I have a couple connected stories I need to resurrect as well. Stay tuned.
As far as stuff here goes.... Jo and I have pretty much decided to look into one of the 55+ Retirement communities, most likely on the Kansas side of the state line. There are some pretty nice places in Overland Park and Olathe, where Bill's family still lives. We have 2 nieces and their families as well as our sis-in-law, Pam.
A nice, 2-bedroom apartment would have everything we need, and several advantages. Both Jo and I have somehow lost much of our enthusiasm for mowing lawns, cutting the neighbor's weeds out of the fence, getting chigger bites on our butts while cutting weeds out of the fence, raking up 300 tons of leaves every fall / spring and all the other delights of yard work. Not to mention dealing with plumbing issues, repairing windows, and so on..
It's going to be an interesting journey. I'm trying to keep my Blog updated (link below), and I'm planning on making lots of entries as things move along.
Well, that's it for now. I hope everyone is doing well amidst all the insanity going on everywhere. As always, THANK YOU all so much for stopping by for a look, and for all your awesome support and comments over the years! You guys and gals are my other family!

There's always a reason to celebrate our nation's birth... even if it's just to hope for better times ahead! So happy Independence Day! Best of luck with your search for a new place... mowing lawns and fighting weeds lost their attraction for me some time ago. Looking forward to your next installment.

Great looking trio! Nice of them to allow you to use them for this month's calendar! They all really rock big time! And also thanks for your personal update! Hope you find a really nice place and can get settled in soon! You need a big fat break from all the stress your neighborhood has been giving you, to say nothing of all the millions of little details of trying to maintain a house and yard! Yikes! What hassles they are. We just had to get a new water heater installed. Cost exactly twice as much as I had budgeted for it! Well, that's life! LOL! Hang in there buddy! Your really good times are just about to begin!!!!!!!!!

Oh, just one of many, Dan! She'll get around to showing you all her fun labs...... Maybe! 😉 That lab was actually in an earlier chapter - it's the "Secret Government Labs" set. I liked it so much I wanted it for the calendar. Happy Birthday, Bro!
