Description
Finally a better picture of a killdeer. I rarely see them in photographic range and would have missed these if not for my wife pointing them out. Not only was there one, but a whole group foraging at a local beach. I swear those eyes have magical anti focusing power as only 2-3 shots of nearly 50 came out in focus.

Thank you Paulienchen, I actually would have preferred the light behind me more so I could have gotten a better capture of their amazing amber eyes. But I'm still pretty happy with it!
