Description
"Wish for my good fortune!" the little rodent squeaked as he scampered into the gloomy depths of the tomb.
"Good fortune ter yeh, then!" Jorl muttered. "It still stops me gob ter be dependin' 'pon yon rat fer me quest!"
The cat girl took a deep relaxed breath and released it. "One," she counted. She repeated the process, "Two."
Jorl grimaced. "I'll likely die of old age afore yer reaches a hunnerd breaths!"
"Hush or I'll lose count and have to start over!" Cat girl scolded. "Three." A deep breath and relaxed exhalation followed by, "Four."
Jorl groaned but kept his peace.
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered in Poser 12.0.757 with Superfly Cycles 2 and tweaked in Photoshop for a bit of glow (spectral bloom) and vignette. The Catgirl is based on A3, the Dwarf is a stand alone figure by Sixus1 and Sir Squeaker is part of a bundle from Poser Software. The setting is from "The Dungeon" by Sveva and LukeA.

Thanks, Kellie. I view her as the one with the most "emotional intelligence" and Sir Squeaker as the one with the most "book learning". Jorl? >.< Well, Jorl is the most Jorl-ish person you'll ever meet! =)

Yes indeed. Sadly you can really see the old content textures that I haven't done much with here. Still, I thought it was a pretty effective and fun picture in the series! =D

Love the "Squeaker's eye" POV in this one! He looks ready to face his challenge, despite Jori's doubts! It will be some kind of miracle if Jori really can hold his tongue for the count of 100 breaths :-)

Heh. Thank you! It's the first time I've pulled the PoV in close enough that we can really see Sir Squeaker. It's a shame he's such old content. His textures are kind of primitive but he poses well and that look of determination was fun to set up. I always think about expressions when I am doing pictures that are supposed to be telling stories. XD

Thank for giving me a smile, JD. The breathing gag is the analog of a stopwatch or second hand on a wristwatch since neither exist in this fantasy continuum. At her current rate of counting, she'll give Sir Squeaker plenty of time to ready himself and drive Jorl nuts. XD
