Description
With so many photos, writings, software and the like being in digital format we take a real gamble if we do not have a backup process in place just in case there is a disaster and recovery is required. What then in the future when cloned body parts and maybe even full clones are possible. I guess we will have to regularly make a backup of ourselves and then worry about who has access to and how the data could be used.

With my memory growing ever weaker, I would definitely appreciate a "back up" device for my mind! I think, anyway. You bring up good points about who might be able to access the data, and what would happen if it got corrupted? Interesting possibilities for a story there!

Thank you. My mind does tend to wander at times and I found myself thinking of all the ramifications if this were possible. Like you I could well do with a backup for my mind but keeping my computer backed up is difficult enough.
