Description
After a long day of training aboard the Solaris, the partners finally get a little time alone for rest, relaxation, and romance.
==AMY’S NOTES==
This one started with the pose, which of course made me think of a bed, but I also wanted to do something sci-fi, which made me think of a spaceship. A pose like this needs clothing that’s easy to adjust, so I chose a suitable sci-fi outfit by Arki.
I was kinda hoping the ambient bits of the outfits would do more to light the scene, but I still needed a 1% inverse linear point light in there for their faces. The rest of the lighting is from a panel on the ceiling of the bed unit, set to .5 ambient, so maybe the suits actually are contributing to light?

And a few more things going to be happening. Great romantic couple and setting.

Thanks for the comment! I'm kind of addicted to buying spaceship interiors, and yet I never know what to do with them, so at least I finally used one!
OmniFX
Great looking happy couple looks good. Excellent!

Thanks so much for the comment! The poses came with more "serious" expressions, but I made them smile :-)
A_Sunbeam
Beautifully done!

A most romantic scene for this fantastic couple! Many fine praises from me to you on this most excellent creation!

Thanks so much for the comment! I'm glad I finally got to use one of the many spaceship interiors awaiting use in my runtime!

Wonderful posing and lighting. Love the look off all the textures

Thanks so much for the comment! The lighting was fun to work out, as was finding the right ambient values for the suit!

Cool glows on the outfits and great lights!

Thanks! I wasn't sure when I'd ever use this kind of outfit, so I'm glad I came up with something! Now I just need to come up with something for the hundreds of sci-fi props I've collected :-)

You have really used this pose well & the sci-fi setting is perfect! The lighting is a fantastic success!

Thanks so much for the comment! The lighting was fun to do, and I was pretty impressed with the poses, as they worked pretty well right "out of the box," requiring only a small amount of tweaking on hands and heads. I've tried other 2-person pose sets that required more fiddling, so I look forward to using more of these poses!

Beautiful romantic scene, I really like the girl’s outfit and the sci-fi environment... great work !!

Thanks so much! I love viewing sci-fi scenes but haven't made many myself, as I tend to gravitate towards fantasy and fairies and such, but I'd like to try doing more sci-fi, if only to make use of the giant library of sci-fi props I've collected :-)
donnena
Great job! love the almost cartoon effects!
MeInOhio
Great kiss! But I don't think they're getting much rest!
perpetualrevision
Yeah, probably not! But it's still a nice break from training :-)

A very tender creation.

I think the lighting is pretty effective considering the limitations of Firefly. I've messed with trying to light scenes from emissive costumes and haven't had quite the effect I was looking for with Superfly, either. As for the content, it's a very sweet picture. I had done a similar one that the moderators nixed because of nudity so you are wise to have your characters dressed. >.<
Thanks for sharing, Amy. I always look forward to your images. =)

A tricky lighting challenge met with verve and subtlety, and also a really nice romance pose (I want to read the novel it goes with!)
