Percy and Mr. Woo had been feuding since High School. They decided to settle it once and for all via the manly art of fisticuffs at a local boxing gym. Percy borrowed high-top sneakers from his grandson. Mr. Woo’s granddaughter cobbled together an outfit for him. When they reached the gym, they insisted on wearing the biggest gloves available, resulting in neither being able to lift their hand much. After being helped into the ring by some of the members, they squared off. One of the trainers acted as the official and called out “Ding, ding. Percy lifted his arm and prepared to swing his fist in a big, sweeping arc to clobber Mr. Woo’s head. Mr. Woo quickly raised his gloves to protect himself but didn’t count on the momentum the heavy gloves would create and promptly knocked himself out. Percy’s glove, now in the grip of centripetal force with nothing to stop it, continued its arc, turning him into a corkscrew, causing him to fall backwards and hit his head on the mat also knocking him out. The “official” did the standard 10 count and when neither man got up, declared the match a Double KTO (Knocked Themselves Out). Percy and Mr. Woo were helped to the locker room where they agreed that this was just too embarrassing. They decided to be friends again, especially since neither one could remember what had started the feud in the first place.
